Interview is on 3/2. Got this email yesterday:

As we approach the Round 2 decision release in late March, we wanted to give you an update on your application to the Yale School of Management.

If you have interviewed with us in recent months, thank you for taking the time to speak with a member of our community about your candidacy. This conversation was a valuable addition to your application, and we hope it was also a great opportunity for you to learn more about the school. If you have an upcoming interview scheduled with us, we look forward to meeting you very soon!

If you are a re-applicant to the program, we do not require another interview if you interviewed with us in a previous year, unless additional information is needed by the committee.

With regard to timing, all Round 2 decisions will be released by March 27, 2015. If you have any questions during the remainder of the admissions process, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Sounds like R2 decisions may potentially be trickling out for interviewed individuals too but the last drop dead date will be 3/27... so much easier if the call anxiety was only on one day. Oh well, good luck all!

To everyone that is saying they got dinged, is this what you received? I'm counting on a ding, but it doesn't explicitly state it? Are you all just assuming this is 100% ding?

No that's not a ding, it means you are still in the running. Mine simply said that there was an update to my application, and directed me to a link. When I clicked on the link it told me that I had been denied. Congrats on still hanging in there!

I think it shows the numbers for one status only.
after the interview, people change their status and some don't. Hence the result. Ideally, invited should b 0 aftr all the interviews

Sorry to hear that, but that's something new - I don't believe we've seen any post interview decisions here yet. Makes me wonder if they going to start release decisions to all prior to the decision release date.

My guess is the dinged status is automatically sent out to everyone who's application status page doesn't show a completed interview. Check if your status page says "Interview Complete" under the recent activities. It may be possible that Yale just never updated your status page and that they are still considering you.

My guess is the dinged status is automatically sent out to everyone who's application status page doesn't show a completed interview. That is not possible because me and some others received an email telling us to "be patient" . Which probably means that our apps have not been evaluated yet.

Just interviewed today in Sao Paulo. It was pretty relaxed and casual. In the end I was told that adcom is travelling around and that I shouldn't expect to hear anything before March 27. A little more anxiety won't kill, I guess.
