Great initiative! Good luck! It is a bit early in the season so I think a lot of folks are still figuring out which way is up and which test to take and what score to get but there are those who are done already. This seems to specifically target those from India it seems with prices in Rupees. :blushing:

Yes. The target audience is Indian applicants but the admits told me they are willing to help any applicant if required :)

Hello Everyone,

A few of us admits to the NYU Stern School of Business (Anushka Kurra, Nissim Chandorkar, Priyanka Wadhwa, Sandeep Nereyeth, Tanmay Sharma and myself) are coming together to help raise funds for the fight against COVID-19.

As the admissions season approaches, a lot of you may have questions about how to approach the often daunting admissions cycle.

To this end, we would be happy to help anyone with the following -
1. GMAT/GRE preparation tips and tricks
2. General application help and feedback
3. Interview preparation tips

What we ask for in return is either a donation of plasma or of a minimum of INR 1000 to a COVID relief fund of your choice (link to a verified list of funds is provided below).

If this is interesting to you, please fill the google form (linked below) and we will get back to you to schedule a session. Each session is a 45 minute 1:1 zoom call with an admitted student.

I’m happy to help with all of the above topics and any other application related questions you might have. Stay safe!

Pay It Forward: #CovidRelief Initiative by Top MBA admits

We are a group of 200+ business school admits and alumni from top schools (Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Columbia, Booth, Kellogg, Haas, Ross, Darden, Tuck, Fuqua, Cornell, Kenan-Flagler, LBS, INSEAD, IESE, HEC Paris, etc.) (with more schools on the way!) who have come together to raise funds for COVID relief efforts. We urge you to donate to any (non-political) COVID Relief Fund of your choice, and in return, we will be happy to help MBA aspirants with 30 mins to 1 hour of our time. Refer to the attached image for the donation matrix!

Please make the contribution and fill up the following Google form based on the type of session that fits your need:

2. Ongoing: Register for 1-on 1 sessions: Just let us know your background and what you wish to talk about, we will match you with a mentor that most aligns with your request!

3. Completed: GMAT Bootcamp: We are hosting a GMAT bootcamp on the weekend of May 1, Saturday, led by Manan Kumar, GMAT instructor at Top One Percent. The 4-hour bootcamp will be split across 2 days May 1, Saturday and May 2, Sunday, between 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm IST.

Some of the recent admits have reached out regarding a few fundraisers. The recent admits are volunteering their time for free consultations on MBA and career-related topics and in exchange would encourage interested folks to donate to a charity of their choice. Some of those fundraisers are below.

1) Fundraiser of recent admits from Wharton, Kellogg, Harvard, Insead

2) Fundraiser of recent admits from NYU Stern

3) Fundraiser of recent admits from Columbia, Duke, Darden

MBA/MS aspirants should really make use of this opportunity! I cannot emphasize more on how personally I have benefited by talking to alumni/current students. And here we are- some of the best minds who have been in the same shoes offering to help with your journey😁 Brilliant initiative

The following is from Michigan Ross admits.

We are a group of incoming Michigan Ross-MBA'23 admits from India and wish to make a small contribution to the ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts as our country is battling the horrendous second wave.

Our cohort ranges from current/past management consultants, investment bankers, tech product managers, entrepreneurs, social impact and public policy specialists, lawyers, CA, CFAs who have graduated from prestigious institutions (IITs, DU, NSIT etc.) and have served different tenured positions in top-tier firms in India and abroad.

We urge you to donate at least INR 500 to any COVID relief effort, and in return, we will be happy to schedule a 30 mins to 1 hour chat with you on MBA/MS/MPP applications, career advice and exam prep.

We will connect you to a mentor via email and all that we seek from you is a proof of payment/ donation which you can share. To register, you can fill up a small google form (https://lnkd.in/deuA4fS)
A useful link for relief funds (https://lnkd.in/dkCJPNt). You can choose any!

Hello Everyone ,

The following was posted on one of the consultant's blogs and thought I would post it here for a better reach.

Hi there -

Like many of you, I am heartbroken to see the devastation in India caused by the surge in COVID-19 with family, friends, and clients based there. In the past couple of weeks, I have been touched by the many initiatives taking place to provide support as I strongly believe that every little bit helps.

As we enter the peak 2021-2022 MBA application season, Ivy Groupe is offering its most popular product – “MBA Application Checklist” – in exchange for a minimum $20 donation to a credible organization of your choice providing COVID-19 relief in India.

The “MBA Application Checklist” helps MBA candidates get organized so that nothing slips through the cracks when applying to business school. You can learn more about the checklist here.

To get Ivy Groupe’s “MBA Application Checklist,” all you have to do is the following:

Email ivygroupe.india@gmail.com with proof of your minimum $20 donation (made 4/30 onwards)
We will confirm the donation within 2 days and send you the document

If you are a current/future MBA candidate seeking a head start on your MBA application journey, this is a great way to do so while giving back and saving lives.

Thank you, and hoping fervently that you and yours are safe.

Best,

Shaifali
