A big congrats to all those who got admits in FT and Co-op MBA. I got an admission into FT MBA, which I didnt accept yet. I was offered IMBA at schulich which I have declined(It is very expensive!!). Also I am thinking to apply for Schulich jan2017 FT MBA intake. Kindly advise on this.

Hello vijaysuman4u, welcome to the forum. The Schulich FT program is very prestigious in Canada. I personally wasn’t drawn to it because the program kind of lack that internship or co-op component. York offers a strategic consulting project instead of an internship, which didn’t quite convince me. The program is as expensive as the IMBA if I’m not mistaken. I think this year Schulich is currently ranked #1 in Canada. I personally can’t say much about the school, so I would like to apologize about not to be able in providing valuable information.

However I would like you to consider DeGroote for a moment. I was even willing to accept the FT offer, if by chance I received a reject offer to the co-op program. The program has a great career center, which will prepare you for job interviews, resume, workshops, etc. Hamilton – Burlington is a very beautiful city to live and study. The surrounding parks are extremely beautiful, especially the innumerable streams and waterfalls (more than 100) you can find in the country side. They don’t call it the city of waterfalls for nothing. Niagara is just 30 to 40 min on bus.

Canada is full of top rated MBA programs all around the country, regarding your decision, I surely think you will be successful.

Yes. I have scored 650 and i am planning to apply with this score only.

I’m assuming you are talking about applying to the accelerated program for Jan 2018 start.

Are you applying to part time or full time?

I’m applying to part time and rewriting my gmat on Oct 21st. I haven’t seen many people on here talking about applying to partime/fulltime usually I only see them discussing the co-op.

Have you heard of a lot of people are applying for this round?
