Hello Everyone
I Had my Gmat Exam Two days back i.e On 18 July 2022. I got a very horrible Score of 480(O49 V12). While attempting the actual exam I feel that in my Quant Section after attempting question upto 15. I feel like exam is not too difficult, I lost my all the focus and think about something else and in final 3 questions i was in hurry to attempt those.
After attempting quant I took a break of 8 minutes and after that I started For VARC and in this section got the first question and completely blanked. After attempting 13 question i checked the timer its 33:00 min remaining and i was again in the rush to solve the remaining 23 question. and without going through all the questions deeply. I am worried for all the remaining section which is IRR and AWA.
I want to know where did i lacked and how i overcome with this.
please help me out with this problem
I scored in
mock 1 600
mock 2 610
and in other jamborree mocks i scored around 600-630 range

For Verbal, using time markers may help keep your time management on track. For specific suggestions, consider adding what problems you think you have on Verbal. An ESR may also provide a bit of helpful insight.

Hi harshittahuja,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as planned. When these types of score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. Before we discuss any of those potential issues though, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours did you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hello Rich,
I am Studying from april 2022 and was regular in studies for 7-8 hours a day
I have the Jamboree Online Account with me from that period.
1st Offical Gmac Mock i gave on 1 week before exam
2nd official Gmat mock i gave on 3 days before my exam date

My Goal Score upto 700
I am targeting for Canadian Business for my MSC Finance Program.

Hi harshittahuja.

It sounds as if you need a lot more practice.

Also, you need to achieve higher accuracy, particularly in verbal, before you take more practice tests or take the GMAT again. Since your score goal is 700+, probably, you should hold off on taking the GMAT again until you are more clearly ready to score at that level.

Meanwhile, since you need to improve most in verbal, you may find the insights provided by this post particularly valuable.
