Hi, Let me answer your question in order.

1) I have studied for like 4 weeks as of yet. I give nearly 1hr on average on weekdays and a total of 8 hours during weekends.
2) I have used Manhattan books (only for SC and RC) and have given 2 og mocks
3) I took the first one before even starting my prep and scored 640 (50 QA, 26 VA), and the next one about 3 weeks post that and scored 680 (49 QA, 34 VA)
4) My goal is 750
5) I am planning to apply to ISB, INSEAD, and Kellog. All of them in December/January

Please note that the reason for the delay is that I wish to do some NGO work and also some non-paid consulting work as well to improve my profile. So want to finish my GMAT ASAP.

Hi Mandy001,

To properly make sure that you are working with materials that match-up with your 'needs', it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi Mandy001,

To start, since you are interested in some highly-competitive Schools, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement (and the more time that you have to implement that advice, the better). There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admissio ... tants-124/

Many GMATers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores, so if you have studied for just 4 weeks - and you are planning to study for just 9 weeks in total - then there might be a limit to how much you can improve in that time. You're still performing at a relatively high level at this point (the Average Score on the Official GMAT hovers around 550 most years), but you might end up needing more training time than you have currently allotted.

As an aside, the 750+ score is approximately the 98th percentile - meaning that most GMATers never score that high on the Official Exam. Thankfully, NO Business School actually requires that you score that high - so it's important to realize that the score that you "want" and the score that you "need" to get into your first-choice School are not the same thing.

1) Are you planning to take the At-home GMAT or are you planning to take your GMAT at a Test Facility?
2) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?
