Dear GMAT Club Members,
I would like to take a moment and share how wonderful this platform has become! The new Welcome feature is superb! Because there is just so much here for a person to explore!

Thank you ❤️

Well thank you. That’s awfully nice of you to say. I have to admit, I’m usually expecting let’s call it “well-masked suggestions for improvement”

Hey bb,

I am currently facing 2 issues:
1. RC should have an overall timer and not an individual timer which I have to manually start else my time calculated is 0.
2. The timer should not stop automatically after selecting an answer. As long I don't click next, it should go on because I am still left with an opportunity to change my answer choice.
3. This is a glitch. I selected 50 questions as total but when I started the quiz, got only 31 questions.

Hey bb and Bunuel Great product this Forum Quiz 2.0 however I am facing one issue. After completing the test I'm not able to review all questions that I attempted. Only few questions such as 4-6 out of 10 can be seen in error log. Sometimes 15-20 questions will be logged in error log out of 30 attempted questions. Is there any provision where we can see how many questions attempted were correct or wrong etc? Is there any tool in this forum quiz where we can see our progress?

Thanks and regards

Hey bb

What I am seeing is that I am not getting the number of questions that I select. For example, once I selected 31 questions for Quant with a 15/16 PS/DS, all of 700 level but I got only 26 questions
Then I tried the same with 50 questions, each 700 level, but got only 20 questions

The only filter I am applying is official excluding GMAT Prep

Hi. Thank you for reporting the issue. One question and one request:

1. Do you answer the timer when you take the quiz?
It is possible to click next and move on to the next question. Do you click A, B, C, D, E on each of the questions you answer? I assume so but don't want to assume.

2. If you do click ABCDE, can you please share with me a link to a few questions that you attempted in the quiz but that did not show up in your Error Log? If you can't find any handy, here is how you could get the link: open one tab for forum quiz and another one for error log and each time you answer a question, refresh the tab with error log and if a new question does not show up there, then go back one in Quiz (using the back browser button) and record the ID number. This would be very helpful to track and figure out why it did not show up/record in the error log.

3. Forum quiz writes how many questions you are getting. Sometimes it is not possible to get the desired number of questions due to lack of them if you choose a particular source, topic, and difficulty there may only be 10 questions and not 50 for example.

Question: Have you looked at the number of questions that it serves you (upper right hand corner - screenshot below)? is that the number that is 26 instead of 31? or does it say 31 there but you only get served 26 questions? Or does it show 26 in the upper right hand corner?

Wow. Exactly the problem I have been telling bb for days at top of my lungs. Same error. The number of questions are always less and obviously there is no shortage of questions otherwise they should not come in the next quiz.

However bb finds a way to explain the glitch everytime. Damn.

1 Yes bb I am always solving questions using timer and getting exact no of question that I select. While attempting, when I'm clicking in options, it is getting selected then only I am selecting next for another question. I am also getting message that your answer logged in error log but while reviewing I'm not able to find all questions. If scoring system could be included then we can be certain.

2. Only thing is I don't remember question which didn't logged in error log but will take a not of this attempting next time.

3. I'm selecting questions in a burst of small numbers like 10 only for SC and 10 only for CR that too unattempted ones. I don't think there are shortage of particular type of questions.

4. Next time I will update you ID of all questions that didn't log in error log.

Thank you

Thank you! If this is not too hard. It would help quite a bit to bring to developers and ask them. This would help a lot. I appreciate it!

Yes bb, unfortunately that is the case. I select 31 questions and it shows 26 only in the upper right hand corner. And last time was even worse, I selected 50 questions and it was showing me only 20 in the upper right hand corner

Buddy, its ok, I understand your point I do. But we cannot be harsh to bb. This person has done SO MUCH for the GMAT Community and we get such awesome features to practice, not to mention the recent full length tests as well and he is always asking for glitches and errors himself (p.s. he even messaged me to check his question for me here)
So, we should be thankful and appreciate and I am sure bb is always on to make things better each day

bb this time when I attempted Forum Quiz, I searched the questions in a separate tab to keep track of questions I attempted. To my surprise, all questions were also logged in error log. But, previously also many times all questions have been logged in error log. Only sometimes, a very few questions were not logged. I will update as soon as this issue arises

Thank you so much!

It always happens this way when you try to test and check. Things work perfectly when you do testing. It’s the universe law of some kind.

I am not being harsh on bb. I have been telling him that this is an error on GMAT club side. On the other hand, he is not even acknowledging that there is any glitch. He has been saying that it was my internet, extension, computer etc. I have explained him so many times. He is saying that I am the first one to tell him this error. No one has ever seen it. So, basically not even checking if there is actually an error and not even acknowledging.

Have you considered following the instructions I have provided to this user above?
https://gmatclub.com/forum/forum-quiz-m ... l#p3101574

When you PM'ed me, I have done diagnostic on your issues the same day and they seem to stem from connectivity based on what my developers told me. I trust them more than a random guy on the internet as I have had a lot of people bring up strange issues that end up being their own - you will have to accept that. I shared with you about my findings, explained that I have not experienced it and have not seen other people having the same issue and that it was most likely isolated to your account and that it would be good to see if others experienced them. You were not happy with the answer and clearly thought it needed to be my top priority until I solve it or die. If you disagree, and you feel so strongly about it, perhaps you you can record a video to show your issues and participate in solving the issue rather than helplessly displaying a bad attitude.... Now, it is very possible that I am completely wrong and you are completely right and there is some bug that I have not been able to find in the past 6 months of Forum Quiz but even in that case, you will gain absolutely nothing from being disrespectful.

I did not expect you to consider it as top priority or die -- this was your understanding of what I asked you. I simply asked you to ask other users if they also facing the same issue. In addition to that, you did not even acknowledge that this was an issue just based on the fact that your server worked fine and no one else reported this. How logical are these 2 explanations? I just asked you to test a simple thing that might not even take minutes -- to create some tests and check. But what did you do? You got back to me saying it was my issue even though I explained all the scenarios. Were you not being disrespectful by clearly ignoring and disregarding my request? I have nothing against you but it clearly looked like you were not even trying.
