I am planning on taking the GMAT in the spring and would like to know if there's a significant difference between the editions of the official guides (specifically the 2015 version and the 2018 version). The reason I ask is because a friend is letting me borrow his used 2015 official guide bundle, but I would like to know if that itself is sufficient or if the material in the 2015 version is outdated and I should purchase the 2018 version instead.

There is no need to buy a new edition. Every new edition removes around 25% of the content, and replaces it with new questions. However, you can find ALL of the new questions on gmatclub.
