Conclusion: any factory that has not installed such a system since last year must be emitting pollutants below the required level.
why?
Since new environmental regulations were enacted last year, factories emitting pollutants above a certain level must install advanced filtration systems.
--Flaw is it may happen that factory may be indulged in malpractise and emitting pollutant above.
or some factory has complex process and installation is taking time
A. Any animal classified as a reptile must be cold-blooded, so if an animal is not cold-blooded, it cannot be classified as a reptile.
-- looks perfect without flaw and hence out
B. All licensed drivers must pass a driving test, and since Jorge has passed a driving test, he must be a licensed driver.
-- looks good without flaw, hence out
C. A person who is an elected official must reside in the district they represent, so anyone who does not reside in a particular district cannot be an elected official there.
-- looks good without flaw, hence out
D. Every person entering the country must go through customs; therefore, the increase in the number of customs agents will necessarily lead to a decrease in the number of people entering the country.
-- increase in custom agents lead to decrease in number of people is unwarranted and twists the argument. hence out
E. All professional athletes must undergo regular drug testing; hence, if someone has not undergone drug testing, they must not be a professional athlete.
--it is along same lines of original question. What if the professional athelete is sick and could not undergo drug testing or is on vacation. so this is the answer

We got a really tough challenge with the Orange Team.
But we will make it. We will win, I'm sure.
Let's get started with our explanation for this topic on day three:
Identify the Question:
This is a Flaw question type with a little twist. It is also an analogous question.
We will have to find out a flaw and its similarity to one of our answer choices.
Deconstruct:
Since new environmental regulations were enacted last year, - Premise
factories emitting pollutants above a certain level must install advanced filtration systems. - Intermediate Conclusion
Therefore, any factory that has not installed such a system since last year must be emitting pollutants below the required level. - Conclusion
State the Goal:
The flaw here: it is assuming that any company that is not in GROUP A (the one who has high pollution) must be emitting pollutants below the required level.
What if these companies do not comply the law? What if they lied about their level?
The author igones these flaws.We look for the exact analagous flaw in one of our answer choices.
Let's structure this argument, to make it clear:
There is a group of A, B, C, D. They all do the same "something" but differ in their levels.
The government says that A and B must leave the group because of their LEVEL (something).
The other that remains C, D MUST have not to be at the level of A, B because they stayed.
Elimination:
A) Wrong analogous- This is a wrong relation. Reptile -> Cold blooded Reptile so if it is not cold blooded =X reptile
we are looking for some relations that has a similarity in their meaning and structure. here we are talking about A,B,C,D as their natural traits.
in our argument we are talking about "something" that they do to make them differ. also if you think of the raltions deeply you can understand it is not the same. - Eliminate
B) Wrong analogous- He we are talking only about the group A,B - we are not talking at all on C,D. - Eliminate
C) Correct - A,B must do something to defer their levels. this something force them to leave group.
so if we are looking on the Remain group C,D. they must stayed in the original group becuase their are not do the "something" A,B did. exactly the same analagous - Keep
D) Wrong analogous- here we are speaking about the act itself, what we should do becuase of the "something" - Eliminate.
E) Wrong analogous- as Answer choice A, here we are speaking of the A,B,C,D themself and not about their "something" they did. A,B,C,D did something and therefore the group splited. here they didn't do "something" and because of that they got seperated - Eliminate.
