­Demo performs then at least 3 will perform
­Zozini performs then at least 1 will perform

Conditions:

Andrea, Christiane, Demi, Iris, Paulina, and Zozibini = 6 participants

Condition 1 : Andrea participates if either Christiane or Paulina
Condition 2 : Paulina participates if Demi
Condition 1 : Demi participates if either Iris or Zozibini

Case 1: Demi performs: For Demi to perform we need either Iris or Zozibini to perform. Since Demi performs, then Paulina will perform. and Since Paulina performs Andrea will perform if Christiane doesn't perform or Andrea will not perform (in either case only 1 will perform)

Least number of performers: ( Iris or Zozibini ) --- 1 and Paulina --- 2 and ( Andrea or Christiane ) --- 3 Total excluding Demi

Case 2 : Zozibini performs: If Iris doesn't perform then similar to case 1, there will be 3 performers. But, if Iris performs then the chain breaks. Therefore for minimum performances, Iris should perform, totalling only 1 performance other than Zozibini

The mandatory sequences are the following:
C/P => A
D => P
I/Z => D

So, if Demi performs, Paulina must perform as well, and then it triggers Andrea’s performance. Total is a minimum of 3 performers.
For Zazibini, we add one more step, because she triggers Demi, and then we have the same order as above. Therefore, the minimum is 4 performers.

The answers are: 3 for Demi, 4 for Zazibini.
