Premise: Unlike other health clubs in the area who pay their personal trainers based on the number of clients they see each day that leads to trainers rushing through sessions to fit in more clients, at Fitness Hub, personal trainers are paid a fixed salary regardless of the number of clients they train each day, so they have no incentive to rush sessions.
Conclusion: IF one joins Fitness Hub, one can be sure that they will receive thorough and unrushed training sessions, maximizing their fitness results, as trainers will not rush sessions.

To weaken the advertisement's reasoning, we have to find an answer that will show that the trainers at Fitness Hub is rushing through the sessions to fit in new clients. Lets check the answers now.

Quote:
(A) Trainers at Fitness Hub are evaluated based on client satisfaction, which can lead to trainers spending more time with each client to ensure positive feedback.
While answering this question, i foolishly selected option A, soon to realize while writing the explanation, that it is a wrong choice. This option, in fact, strengthen the advertisement's reasoning that the trainers will not rush through the sessions.

Quote:
(B) Other health clubs in the area offer a wider range of fitness classes than Fitness Hub, attracting a broader clientele.
This is an out of scope answer for me. It doesnt matter which club is able to attract more clientele. The conclusion doesnt talk about this. Eliminated

Quote:
(C) Many of the personal trainers at Fitness Hub are inexperienced and recently certified, which could affect the quality of the training sessions. Eliminated
Can be tempting, I guess. But does the reasoning talks about the quality of the session. I believe it doesnt. It just talks about the session time. Hence i would eliminate this.

Quote:
(D) Fitness Hub has a significantly higher membership fee compared to other local health clubs, which could deter potential members.
The conclusion is not about attracting or deterring customers. Its about the time that the PTs would give to their clients. Eliminated.

Quote:
(E) Fitness Hub allocates a fixed amount of time for each session, and trainers are required to adhere strictly to these time slots.
I believe this does the job for me. If the trainers have a fixed amount of time for each session, they might try to rush through the clients to maintain that time limit, which will weaken the reasoning of the advertisement.

Hence, the answer is E.

IMO - E

Health Club Advertisement: Other health clubs in the area pay their personal trainers based on the number of clients they see each day, which may encourage trainers to rush through sessions to fit in more clients. However, at Fitness Hub, our personal trainers are paid a fixed salary regardless of the number of clients they train each day, so they have no incentive to rush sessions. Therefore, when you join Fitness Hub, you can be sure that you will receive thorough and unrushed training sessions, maximizing your fitness results.

Which of the following, if true, would most weaken the advertisement's reasoning?

(A) Trainers at Fitness Hub are evaluated based on client satisfaction, which can lead to trainers spending more time with each client to ensure positive feedback. // Eliminate because this goes in the opposite direction.

(B) Other health clubs in the area offer a wider range of fitness classes than Fitness Hub, attracting a broader clientele. // Eliminate irrelevant

(C) Many of the personal trainers at Fitness Hub are inexperienced and recently certified, which could affect the quality of the training sessions. //Eliminate- Many is always inconclusive it can be 3 or all so insufficient to determine the power with it weakens the conclusion

(D) Fitness Hub has a significantly higher membership fee compared to other local health clubs, which could deter potential members. // Eliminate - Irrelevant.

(E) Fitness Hub allocates a fixed amount of time for each session, and trainers are required to adhere strictly to these time slots. // Correct because this fixed amount of time varies person to person and can impact the satisfaction of each client.

Claim: fixed pay->no rush-> maximize fitness result
A:That strengthens the argument
B: Irrelevant
C: Yes, if the trainers are inexperienced, this might not be good for fitness results even if the trainers takes a long time for each client
D:The price here is not the subject of the argument
E: This info might be good or bad depending on the time of the slot and if it's shorter or longer than the other health clubs.

Client satisfaction is key implying more time allocated to the session hence despite assurance of pay in fitness hub there is no fitness hence weaken the fact of rushing through more sessions to get more pay.

(A) Trainers at Fitness Hub are evaluated based on client satisfaction, which can lead to trainers spending more time with each client to ensure positive feedback.

This option would actually strengthen the advertisement's reasoning, as it suggests that trainers are motivated to provide quality service to achieve high client satisfaction.
(B) Other health clubs in the area offer a wider range of fitness classes than Fitness Hub, attracting a broader clientele.

This option does not directly address the quality or thoroughness of the training sessions at Fitness Hub, so it doesn't weaken the advertisement's reasoning.
(C) Many of the personal trainers at Fitness Hub are inexperienced and recently certified, which could affect the quality of the training sessions.

This option could weaken the advertisement's reasoning by suggesting that the trainers' inexperience might lead to lower quality training sessions, regardless of the salary structure.
(D) Fitness Hub has a significantly higher membership fee compared to other local health clubs, which could deter potential members.

This option addresses the cost of membership rather than the quality or thoroughness of the training sessions, so it doesn't weaken the advertisement's reasoning.
(E) Fitness Hub allocates a fixed amount of time for each session, and trainers are required to adhere strictly to these time slots.

This option directly weakens the advertisement's reasoning by suggesting that despite being paid a fixed salary, trainers are still constrained by fixed time slots, which could lead to rushed sessions if the fixed time is insufficient for thorough training.

The conclusion of the passage is : when you join Fitness Hub, you can be sure that you will receive thorough and unrushed training sessions, maximizing your fitness results.

(A) Trainers at Fitness Hub are evaluated based on client satisfaction, which can lead to trainers spending more time with each client to ensure positive feedback.
this is actually a good reason to strenghthen our conclusion, if they spent more time with clients , this will lead to a better quality of the training, False

(B) Other health clubs in the area offer a wider range of fitness classes than Fitness Hub, attracting a broader clientele.

If this is true, it will not go against, having a thorough sessions of training as stated by the conclusion, False

(C) Many of the personal trainers at Fitness Hub are inexperienced and recently certified, which could affect the quality of the training sessions.
This is correct, if trainers are not experienced then even if receiving thorough and unrushed training sessions we may not be having great results as stated by the conclusion, since trainers are not experienced

(D) Fitness Hub has a significantly higher membership fee compared to other local health clubs, which could deter potential members.
Detering potential members has nothing to do with quality and thorough training sessions, False

(E) Fitness Hub allocates a fixed amount of time for each session, and trainers are required to adhere strictly to these time slots.
False, since we can be having fixed time for sessions and still having great results,

Correct answer is C

(C) Many of the personal trainers at Fitness Hub are inexperienced and recently certified, which could affect the quality of the training sessions: the advertisement talks about unrushed session not qualifications of trainers

(D) Fitness Hub has a significantly higher membership fee compared to other local health clubs, which could deter potential members: cost is not mentioned

As we're trying to weaken the argument, we need to identify the argument that shows Fitness Hub's fixed salary structure for trainers doesn't guarantee thorough and unrushed training sessions. => E. "Fitness Hub allocates a fixed amount of time for each session, and trainers are required to adhere strictly to these time slots" meaning they could not guarantee unrushed sessions as they have to run on a strict timeline.
Other answers are either out of context, irrelevant or strengthen the arugment rather than weaken them.

For a weaken question, we need to find the answer choice that make it less likely for the conclusion to be correct.

Conclusion: the fixed salary guarantees thorough and unrushed workout, and thus maximize results.

For weakening this, we need to find a choice that prove that results won't be maximized

A --> irrelevant, it is never mention an evaluation
B --> irrelevant, other clubs does not matter
C --> answer, it shows that even though the workout is thowough and unrushed, there could not be maximizing results
D --> irrelevant, the fee does not matter
E --> irrelevant, does not say that the time is fixed

Answer is C

The answer, according to me, is C.
The main reasoning here is that due to rushed sessions, the clients are not able to maximize their fitness.
Option A really doesn't necessarily weaken the reasoning. Similarly option B and D, although negative, still does not weakens the reasoning either.
And option E, isn't a negative at all.

Have to find option that weakness reasoning

The reasoning: trainers don't have rush so they provide thorough sessions, ultimately max results.

A - client feedback And more client time strengthens the argument
Incorrect.

B - broader range
Irrelevant, neutral argument
Incorrect.

C - insufficient quality
If trainers aren't qualified, spending more time won't garner max results. This has a high potential to weaken the argument

D - higher membership fee
Paragraph highlights time and it's impact of results. Also, members might be willing to pay higher for better results. This needn't be a weakening point, IMO

E - strict time slots
This is clarifying commitment to time, which again strengthens the reasoning

Hence, C fits most as the answer

Conclusion: Therefore, at Fitness Hub, you will receive thorough and unrushed training sessions, which maximizes your fitness results.

A) This statement does not weaken the argument but rather reinforces it.

B) does not relate to the argument’s claim

C) It’s more about trainer qualifications than the fixed salary structure.

D) this is about cost and membership (irrelevant)

E) This option challenges the idea that a fixed salary means trainers can spend as much time as they want on each session. (Correct)
