The issue mentionned by the manager is that their current materials are outdated and not reflect current business challenges.
One objection could be the lower cost of traditionnal printed casebooks but it is weaken by the fact that new online simulations are better tailored to current needs.
For the number 1, the best suited sentence should be to replace the old materials by the new one.
The logical connector "furthemore" is a strengthener of the manager thoughts. So the best suited sentence should bring to light the benefits of new materials and should also justify the merits of an higher of an initial investment amount.
