Hello bb and Moderators of forum, 
Ranking and points are good way to motivate people to participate more and solve lot of questions.
But can someone please clear my doubt how the points are calculated?
I see different ranking of PS/DS/CR etc... how the points work?
Solving questions using timers give you points or other factors contribute to it ? Is there a combination (like some particular no. of timers and posts give you particular point) ?
-Morning i had 60 points in geometry and it said i need 20 points to improve ranking. I solved almost 15-20 geometry questions after that. But i didn't received any point improvement, so wanted to know how the point calculation works.
Also i have 1 concern... not sure if its right place to bring it up... Also plz let me know if you guys have different thought on it:
People post question on forum to get correct answers. They want to know explanations and answers asap.
I have seen that as soon as someone posts a question, the Experts reply within few minutes. In a way this is really good thing as we get our explanation/solution from expert but this leads to lower participation from other fellow members. In general, if we see that solution is shared by expert, we will rarely go and post our solution on top of it.
In my suggestion, if expert wait for some time before posting answers, other members will get chance to solve and share there solution/approach on forum. This way members will be motivated to solve more questions and we might see different approaches to solve a question.
