I have never heard of disagreement being a question type... I disagree 😂

But there hasn’t really been any announced changes to the critical reasoning.

Can anyone please confirm if all the below mentioned question types are tested in CR or is there any change?
Hi Shivam2612,

Different CR books/online courses/tutors have slightly different classification of CR question types. For example, PowerScore's classification is slightly different from that of Manhattan Prep, and they again differ slightly from GMAT Club's classification. What's more, the OG uses a completely different way of classifying CR questions. So there is really no need to be fixated on any one of them. GMAT Club's classification is obviously as per the question type filter in CR sub-forum, and can be seen on the syllabus linked below:

Point at Issue is an interesting topic. It's a commonly tested topic in LSAT, but the consensus seems to be that it's not tested in GMAT. There is no such question type on GMAT Club. PowerScore has a Point at Issue/Point in Agreement chapter in their LSAT LR Bible, but takes it out from the GMAT CR Bible. However interestingly, I did come across an official GMAT question about Point at Issue, as linked below:

Hi sagregas,

Are you referring to DI or to DS? Either way, yes, some questions are definitely very tough. Good for practice, but don't let them take too much time away from the other (most likely easier) questions on the exam.

It's not just you.

Unfortunate but true -- some questions, particularly MSR sets and TPA questions can be very tough and time-consuming.

You would generally not find too many such questions on the GMAT, even if you are en route scoring high.

It's important to not get stuck on any question -- rather, flag such questions for review and revisit them. End of the day, GMAT allows you to get a few questions incorrect and still score high; managing such extra-difficult questions is a part of the game.

All the best!

Hello Everyone, I have just completed my exam. Scored Q86, V84 and DI77. Little disappointed as i was aiming to score 675+. Anyone close to my score planning for a retake? What is your plan to improve the score?

Hey, would you be willing to share some insights? How were you scoring in Mocks (GmatClub mocks and Official mocks)? What would you say about how these were compared to the actual exam? Also, what do you think went wrong so that you could not attain your expected score?

Weird. You should be able to. I will ask the tech team to check.

Is this quiz or tests you had an issue with?

I was scoring an average of 645 on experts global and gmat club mock tests, 655-675 on gmat official mocks. I got too many non-math based questions on DI which is very different to what i have seen in the mocks, that probaby effected by DI. On verbal, i felt the CR questions are slightly longer and passages are are a bit tough but I’m happy with 84 on verbal since i actually was not happy with how i was performing during the exam.
