To all seeking comparison of Mock Test and representation to actual exam;
I can share my experience with
GMAT Club Tests | Official Mocks |
Expert Global Tests;
1) By far no comparison wrt close representation to actual exam stands out the official mocks. "Not 1 &2", "3 through 6". Don’t take a judgement by face value of official mocks 1 & 2 "that are free".
2) GMAT Club; Key feature and Best for preparation I would say are its sectional tests, Math and DI in particular. Very classy sectionals and lenghty wrt actual exam. Will prepare you well for time management and quality question practice.
If you are scoring Q84+ on GMAT club, you can achieve Q90.
If you’re scoring DI 83+ on GMAT Club, you may expect same representation DI83+ on actual exam.
For Verbal, I found them a bit off to the official exam and mocks. Though very good question bank
(Something that helped me a lot; you can sail through their sectionals on daily basis and it keeps you under check for the actual exam, It was difficult for me to appear a full mock each day, so GMAT Club sectionals were confidence builders with the amount of time I had each day during preparation, it’s Like Yes, I’m still there with score Q84, DI 84 likewise".
GUI + Solutions to each question + Ease of Navigation, BEST!
3)
Expert Global Mocks (They don’t have sectional mocks); 15 full paper mocks; They are built for you to build FULL exam resilence and competence of 90%+ %ile. If someone is targeting 685 or more, without a doubt very good FULL MOCKS to practice. Question bank representation is very close to actual exam across all sections and Score representation is on lower side. You can easily expect a delta of +30 points on actual exam if you’re under 90th%ile. For example if you scored 645 on
Expert Global mocks, you can expect 675+ easily on actual exam "minus the exam anxiety".
For someone acoring 705+ on
Expert Global, you’re most likely to score a 10, 20 points delta than actual score. It’s a proof gate for you to be in 98%ile plus zone "minus the exam anxiety".
So people (scoring less than 92%ile around 665 or below) don’t get disheartened by the
Expert Global Scores. They are there to build your resilence in actual exam. Don’t take their score on Face value, add+ 30 points minimum that you can expect on actual score.
GUI, ease of navigaton, have a scope of improvement. But it’s okay to take 2 additional steps to toggle through each question once you’re looking for solutions after the exam.
My Scores;
I started with GMAT Club and loved their sectionals.
