I am trying to find an in person tutor to help me study for my 2nd gmat to improve my score. I would prefer someone that is not part of a big center ie Kaplan etc as I don't have an ark and a leg to sell them. any suggestions?

GMAT Club Forum mobile appYou can and will find a ton of personal tutors but before anyone suggests anything, can you tell us a bit more about these.
1- Your profile
2- Time you can spare per day, weekends and your preferred time/zone.
3- Your main reason for a personal tutor is lack of self motivation or lack of time to research.
4- Your current knowledge of GMAT, and preparedness. Have you tried a mock test and what level does its score you at.
5- Have you tried any of the https://gmatclub.com/chat study groups that contain free question and resource sharing.
Often it is just a matter of finding a good study partner at the same level so you can save the proverbial arm and leg. I am not discouraging you, but these questions will probably help streamline your profile for a potential tutor.
