Generally speaking, there are three types of MBA programs:
a. Full-Time MBAs - these are 2-year programs in the US, 1-1.5-year programs in Europe. The average age here is 28 and the average work experience is ~4-6 years (so Harvard MBA for example).
b. Part-time programs: EMBA programs are designed for candidates who work during their degree (so LBS EMBA, MIT EMBA for example). some are designed for commuters
c. Full time dedicated one-year programs for senior candidates: similar to "regular" MBAs but specific for senior candidates (so Stanford MSx, MIT Sloan Fellows, Foster GEMBA for example)
