Thank you for your post and for sharing your profile. Also, congratulations on a fantastic GMAT score!
As to your application to HBS and M7s, some areas require addressing, but overall you are a strong candidate. Being a white male in a finance-related job requires that you pay close attention to all components of your application, and present your case with a voice that differentiates you from your peers with similar demographics, particularly so because your post-MBA goal is MBB. Below are a few comments on the various sections of your profile:
Academics: While your undergraduate score might not have been as strong as you would like it to be, it is easily offset by your excellent performance in your Master's program, GMAT, and CFA charter-holder status. An optional essay outlining the academic growth since undergraduate would quell any concerns the adcom might have in this regard.
Professional experience: While you mention having four years of work experience in FP&A, you do not go into details about your role and contributions. The job title is second (or even 3rd) to the level of engagement and leadership you have demonstrated in the time you have been at your current firm (or any other firms since graduation). It would be beneficial in our evaluation if you can give further detail, especially as it relates to your transition to MBB.
Community Engagement/ECs: this area might need further discussion as well. How long have you been in the US? I would like to learn more about your involvement in your firm's charitable endeavors. The arbitrage betting partnership is a delicate topic and requires a thorough discussion.

Hi,
Could you please help me with the profile evaluation? I am thinking if I should apply to HBS, and I wanted to know my chances of getting in HBS. Here are my stats:
1. Brazilian, male (26 by beginning of classes)
2. GMAT: 740
3. Undergrad: University of São Paulo: Polytechnic School of Engineering (Top University in Brazil) - BSc Mechanical Engineering (no official GPA provided by university)
(a) No "official GPA" provided by school, but it says that: "excellent students don't score more than 70% and my average final score is 64%"... I would guess that I finished college in the top 30% of the class
4. Experience:
(a) I've been working for the biggest private equity firm in Latin America (Blackstone partner in LatAm; Firm has ~USD 15 Bn in assets under management) for the past
3.5 years. I currently work as Private Equity associate. Since I joined this company, I already got 3 promotions (the last one was a fast track promotion to PE
associate). Through this years, my main responsibilities were analyze companies, perform due diligence, build company's business plans, help in the negotiations for
target companies, help in portfolio divestments, among others. I also worked ~8 months for one of our invested companies as a financial manager, was a member of
the board of the directors of this company, and helped in the PMI process after we acquired it.
(b) Prior to joining my current firm, I worked 6 months in the finance department of a big bank (middle/ back office job).
5. Additional experience/extracurricular:
(a) Undergraduate research for a local public institution (1.5 years). My final work was presented in a international congress
(b) During my banking years, I helped a couple of times a senior living home
(c) No other relevant experiences to add here... (this should probably be a weakness in my application)
6. I will apply in first round (this august) for 2022 class. I will also apply to Wharton, Booth, Columbia, Sloan and Haas

Academics: When it comes to international applicants, US institutions do not require students to convert their CGPA. Instead, they look at the institution's ranking along with your class ranking. Can you share your class ranking? Also, you are already inclined to retake the GMAT, which tells me you fully understand the competitiveness of your demographic. You should, indeed, aim at a higher GMAT score. That said, do not compromise the quality of your application for a higher GMAT. There's tremendous power in a well-told story!
Professional experience: I like that you have international exposure and that your current company has seen your contributions and awarded you the presidential award. The soft-skills of your professional development are imperative in a top business school and will need to be communicated thoughtfully on all components of your application. This section, of course, requires further understanding of your contributions on our part to help guide you.
Community Engagement/ECs: I like that your extra-curricular engagement deal with education and community building. Are you engaged with those programs currently?
While it is difficult to grasp the entirety of your goal in one sentence, I think that you have a clear idea about why you are choosing HBS. Be sure you are as specific as possible about how you intend to use those resources and how will they help you get to a startup accelerator. It is imperative that you are introspective and convey a clear message throughout. What other schools are your targetting?
