admissions may have just given me a blanket statement re: waitlist as a CYA -- wouldn't take it as the bible
my guess is that late march is the absolute latest we would hear back
hopefully we hear something (maybe just a hello from Eileen) late this week or early next week, and then they'll start cherry picking people to admit or release
