Hi all,
I took the gmat once on August 26th. My verbal score is 34 and I aim to get >40 in the test next month, so I planned to focus on SC part as I heard that it's the most efficient part to improve the score.
In the previous test, my SC strategy was to find different points in each choice and eliminate ones with grammar mistakes. Of course I also look at the meaning of the whole sentence but I didn't have time to focus 'that' much. Talking about the time, I think this strategy worked pretty well as I can finish the verbal section exactly on time. But from the score result, I guess that the accuracy is not good.
After I watched
e-gmat lessons, I tried changing my strategy to the 'meaning-based'. I spent a lot of time understanding the question prompt, then read each choice and eliminate when I find mistake. Although my accuracy improved, I spent nearly 2 minutes on even some easy questions and nearly 3 minutes on most difficult questions.
Do you guys have any recommendations on how to improve the speed while having good accuracy? Should I try other method?
Thanks.
