Hello, Oda. Welcome to the community. I agree that an 80-point increase is
possible, but it is not likely unless you take the time to figure out where you are going wrong and practice a lot of questions to check for improvement. At the level at which you are testing, an 80-point jump can occur more quickly than the one from, say, a 630 to a 710. If you feel the group sessions are helping you improve enough in Quant, then you might want to dedicate more of your private study time to Verbal prep. You should be practicing official questions as much as possible to get a feel for how they will appear on the test. Between now and the time you take the exam again, it would also be useful to take the official practice tests 1 and 2 that are available through mba.com (if you have not taken them already--if you have, then you might consider springing for either 3 & 4 or 5 & 6). You can be surprised by what you see on the screen after a few weeks of dedicated prep, but your practice test scores with official material will give you the best indicator of where you will likely stand on test day. Feel free to research any official questions though this site, and if you do not have access to an
OG, check out the new
OG Directory from the GMAT tab above.
Good luck with your studies.
