In the figure above, what is the area of triangle ABD?

Statement (1): h = 4
We do not have a unique triangle. triangle is surely an isosceles triangle with $$\angle A=\angle C$$

Statement (2): measure angle ABD = 60°
Again not a unique triangle

combined
$$\angle A=\angle C$$ and \angle B=60...
So $$\angle A+\angle C=180-\angle B=180-60=120$$..
$$\angle A=\angle C=60$$, hence the triangle is equilateral with sides of 4..
the area of ABD will be half of ABC
Suff
