Is a is less than b if a and b are positive?

(1) $$(b-5)^2 > (a-5)^2$$
Many cases possible..
a) When b = 3, and a=6......$$(b-5)^2 > (a-5)^2....4>1$$..a>b
b) When b = 10, and a=6......$$(b-5)^2 > (a-5)^2....25>1$$..a<b
Insuff

(2) $$\sqrt{b} >\sqrt{a}$$
Since both sides are positive, we can square the two sides..
$$(\sqrt{b})^2 >(\sqrt{a})^2...b>a$$
Suff
