Hi All,
I've been studying for about a month and a half, and I've been seeing fluctuations in my practice test scores. This is the order I took them in (I did the first 2 MGMAT tests more than 5 months ago so I won't put them here):
MGMAT 3: 720 (51Q/37V No IR/AWA)
MGMAT 4: 650 (45Q/34V No IR/AWA) - I was half asleep for this one
GMATPrep 1: 750 (50Q/41V; 7 on IR and also did AWA)
MGMAT 5: 680 (48Q/34V No IR/AWA)
I've been scoring in the 75th percentile for MGMAT verbal (and been somewhat consistent), so I was surprised to see that I scored in the 90th percentile on the GMATPrep verbal. Also, I felt that GMATPrep's verbal was way more straightforward than MGMAT's verbal. This makes me uncomfortable since I've seen some people finding MGMAT's verbal easier than GMATPrep's and the real GMAT's verbal.
I'd say I'm pretty solid with quant, so I'm working on mostly CR and SC right now. Since I'm targeting 720+ and taking the real test in 2 weeks, I don't know if I should be worried/reschedule the test, or stick with the original plan.
Is it weird to find MGMAT verbal more difficult/confusing than GMATPrep verbal? And should I be worried at this point?
Any advice will be appreciated!

We cannot much rely on the score of other testprep companies. GMATPrep predicts the score accurately. If we get a consistent score in GMATPrep CATs then we can certainly believe to score +/- 30 of that score in GMAT exam. This is true when no blunder happenes on D day.
MGMAT Quant - tougher than GMATPrep
MGMAT Verbal - not that tough as compared to GMATPrep
It is better that you take couple more GMATPreps to check. You have following GMATPrep CATS:
GMATPrep CAT-1
GMATPrep CAT-2
ExamPack-1 CAT-3
ExamPack-1 CAT-4
ExamPack-1 CAT-5
ExamPack-1 CAT-6
See how consistent your scores in these CATs are. At least do couple of these in this week only. because you can reschedule the test one week before (keep the dates in mind correctly, sometimes people pass the rescheduling timeline by an hour :D)

The scoring algorithm on the Official GMAT is far more complicated than most people realize. Since that algorithm is proprietary, no GMAT company has an exact match for it, thus CAT scores can vary a bit based on the 'biases' involved in their respective designs. The 'accuracy' of a CAT score is also based on how realistic YOU choose to make the CAT-taking process. If you skip sections, pause the Test, take it at home, take it at a different time of day as your Official GMAT, do anything else that is unrealistic, etc., then your score is likely to be less accurate.
From your scores, you almost certainly have the necessary ability to score at a high level, but at high-and-higher score levels, the GMAT becomes really 'sensitive' to little mistakes. If you make a few too many, then a 720+ score will simply become impossible to achieve. This is meant to say that you have to try to define WHY you're getting questions wrong. It's one thing to assume that a practice CAT might be a bit 'off' from what you'll see on the Official GMAT; it's another thing if you're making lots of little (avoidable) mistakes and losing points as a result.
