Issues with GMAT prep tests

If you haven't been able to use the Official CATs yet, then what other CATs have you used (or have you not taken any yet)? Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Thanks for your reply. I will definitely try them.

I am using a Dell notebook. The problem is when I try to take the test, I cannot see the 'next', 'submit' button as it does not fit the screen properly.

Studies:

I have been studying for about 4 months now.

2) What materials have you used?
I am using OG, e-gmat prep, and GMAT club tests.

3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

I have been using Manhattan CATs and the recent score was a 550 (Q37 and V28).


Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
I want to take this score to a 680 plus.

5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
I am planning to take the test in a month.

6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
Not this year. I think next year.

If you're having trouble properly viewing the Official GMAC CATs, have you tried changing the screen resolution on your computer?

Based on your recent CAT score (550) and your goal score (680+), you will likely need at least another 2 months of consistent, guided study to get up to that level. As such, you might want to consider pushing back your Test Date. From what you've described, you are not on an immediate deadline - which is good. Given the importance of a strong GMAT score, you shouldn't rush in to take the GMAT if you're not close to your goal score. While there's no harm in retesting (Business Schools don't care if you retake the Test), you can save some money/aggravation by rescheduling your Test so that you can continue to study and hone your skills.

In my prior posts, I asked about ALL of the CATs that you had taken - as that score data can help to define trends in your performance and whether you might be 'stuck' at a particular score level or not. So how have you scored on each of your CATs (not just your most recent one)?

I think putting your screen resolution to 90% will help Shiv2016 You can do this by simultaneously pressing Ctrl + "+" from your key board. Let us know if you were able to troubleshoot it!

try changing the screen resolution. put it the highest possible - most likely it should help solve the problem.
what is your current screen resolution? Have you seen that there is a minimum required?
