Can any current students/admits share insights on how to deal with "Which other schools you have applied to" question?

Can't believe decisions are ~2 weeks away. Really enjoyed everyone I met during my visits to Johnson, and hoping to continue the journey.
Isn't it more like 3 weeks? Dec. 11?

I think someone commented a few pages back that there is a chance that decisions may come out as early as dec 4

Yes, that is what I was basing my timeframe on.

To be fair, I received a "Save the Date", which looks somewhat automated, and isn't an actual "invitation". However, I do recall that in an interview with poets and quants, the director of admissions, Christine Sneva, said that she invites "anyone who was admitted" to the predictions dinners (this interview was from January 2013). Googling around a little, I also found a blog post from the same person from January 2012 that says "The Alumni Affairs and Development Office will be hosting in over 10 cities for their annual Predictions Dinners. We have invited admitted students in these select cities, so I hope many of you are taking advantage of this opportunity to feel like a Cornellian!"

So... if the "Save the Date" implies "Invitation" (which it may or may not, unfortunately we might not be able to tell), then it's a great sign!

Although I wish differently, I don't think it means anything. It specifically mentions prospective students are being invited to join.

Spot on on Christine Sneva's interview on P&Q! I was surprised to see the invite to Predictions dinner today in my mailbox! Well, have the invites been sent to only those who interviewed?

The invite also says "Johnson Admissions will be hosting one table in each city for prospective students. More information on how to register will be sent within the next few weeks", which means they'll maybe send out the registration info to only those who get admitted i.e., after December 11th.

I don't think it means anything with regards to admission. I received it although I am applying only in Round 2.

I agree - I dont think Johnson would play that game of unofficially letting people know they were accepted. I received the invite, but curious to know if there were some who didn't.

I did not receive an invite to the dinner things - I was invited to interview a few weeks back and completed my interview a week ago. Hopefully this isn't a bad sign! :?

Any Round 3 applicants here? Since Cornell changed their deadline structure to 3 rounds this year (instead of 4 rounds like in years past), I'm assuming that Round 3 is the 'little to no chance' round?

I know there's still about 9 days until the Round 2 deadline, but I really don't think I can put together a solid application by then. Really wished that Cornell would've used the same early-January deadlines for Round 2 as all the other schools! Argh!

Am I out of luck for Round 3? Should I even bother?
