Hi everyone. I haven’t seen a head to head thread on these two. Indiana Kelley or Florida Warrington?
I’m currently in the automotive industry and would like to stay there. I have a marketing background but am currently in the training department under sales. Ultimately I want to become a brand manager. I am currently in Florida but want to wind up in the northeast.
Overall Kelley is a better school but Florida seem to be a strong up and coming program. Plus I think Florida has a better reputation in general. I’m paranoid that some recruiters won’t know the Kelley brand and only see Indiana.
Additionally, even though I want to wind up in the northeast, Kelley is closer to Detroit so the recruiters at the domestics will know the brand. But how much value does Kelley have in the Northeast and would Florida have more or less value (there are a ton of New Yorkers in Florida)?
I’ve looked at the career reports and Kelley edges out Warrington for salary, but Warrington’s report is pretty basic and doesn’t have a geographical dispersion, so I can’t really compare on that front.
What do you guys/gals think?
