Hi,

I just graduated with a bachelor 's degree in marketing (GPA 3.13) and have interest in the consulting or data analysis
Still no working experience except internships during my 3rd year and a few months after graduating.
Recently, I'm thinking whether or not pursue my master's degree by now so I come up with the MAM program at LBS.
Without any experience and my GPA that not meet the minimum requirements, Should I consider applying? Is it can be negotiated if I possibly can have a good GMAT score which I will take in a next few months.

Or I should move on gaining a work experience and decide to apply again for the MBA program in the future?

Thanks

Hi Earnsiri, so you have a GPA of 3.14/4 ? That should be workable -LBS has not specified any such minimum GPA the MAM program. As far as the eligibility criteria goes, the degree is open for students with 0-2 years of work experience, so that does not rule you out either.
Secondly, the MAM is one of the school's newer degrees so the competition will tend to be a bit lesser than its MiM/MBA program.
To get a clearer overview, you can send your resume to the school for a preliminary evaluation and they will be able to confirm if your chances are good.
The choice between MBA V/S MiM will depend upon at what stage you want to enter the job market (Associate level/Mid-Senior Level) and what is your budget for the program.
For LBS MBA, an experience of 3+ years is recommended.
I would suggest you to take up a profile evaluation so that I can get more profile details ( Internship company, responsibilities, Extra-curriculars,etc) and would be able to suggest programs better. Here's the link: https://www.mim-essay.com/profile-evaluation?gmat-pe

Hi Earnsiri

I have a small advice for you.
The choice between MBA and MIM is a big decision. They are almost completely different. Each of the require a different skills set, and will make you acquire a different capability. Also, the career pathway is quite different although they might overlap at some points where the experience of the candidate plays its role.

Try to find you passion and what you really love to be. This is a big investment in yourself, so choose wisely. Both are great, but make sure you are happy with what you do in the future.
