I was early decision and had a skype interview. It is a very friendly atmosphere and they ask what I would deem to be standard interview questions. The most important part in all of it is to be confident, be relaxed, and just be yourself. Clearly they think highly of anyone they ask to interview so have a conversation with them. No need to pressure yourself.

Hello everyone.. I applied round 1 and got an interview invite too. I think I will be going to South Bend in December just so that I can attend the classes and see the Notre Dame culture... Best of luck to everyone who got the invite....

Hey abhisingla, did you apply early decision or R1? Dec 9 isn't that far off. It seems like most interview invites for R1 were recently extended so I wouldn't worry about anything. We should hear final decisions for R1 by Dec 20th.

I just got my interview invitation yesterday so I still don't have a date yet. You'll be ahead of me. I think its due to the skype interview. I'll be doing mine via skype as well. I think it all has to do with coordinating the interviewers. Don't worry I'm sure you'll crush the interview. Best of luck!

Hi All,
I was wondering how much is the expenses apart from tuition fees at Notre Dame .Can you please give me a rough estimate of annual expenditure on everything apart from tuition fees there (living,food,books etc).In the Notredame site it is given 20,000 dollars but for Indians who probably live in shared accommodations I believe it should be much less annually.

please give some suggestions.

My interview is scheduled for December 19, I am not sure of their mechanism. Do they have some merit list for interview schedule. I am worried why on the last date. They have to come with the results on or before December 20th. Is there any one who is scheduled so late?

I have no idea Prolic. It's def not a "first come first serve" kind of mechanism because I am somehow ahead of people that got their dates before me. Anyways, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. If they are taking the time to interview you I think you would have the same chance as anyone else regardless of the Dec 19th interview date. They wouldn't waste their time interviewing someone if they didn't' stand a chance at admittance. You'll be fine. Best of luck. Go Irish!

Prolic - I wouldn't worry about your interview date. Interviews are scheduled based on an individual interviewers schedule and they use more than one person for interviews, so it is just luck of the draw for timing. Also people have schedules change when looking weeks out so I am sure some interviews have to be rescheduled as well. As far as the timing I am positive that they would have a decision for you on the 20th if you are an R1 candidate. More than likely everything is already set and just waiting on interview results or who knows maybe the interview is just a formality for you. It is impossible to know the situation, and they won't tell you, so there is no use worrying about something out of your control. Just keep a positive attitude and know that they thought highly enough of you to want to interview you.

I wanted to wish everyone good luck with your interviews. It is a stressful time waiting for the interview and then waiting for a decision, but I guarantee that patience and positivity pay off in the long run. I know I did my interview in September 27th and waited until October 25th to hear any results so at least you don't have that kind of wait to look forward to.

Lastly "Go Irish" is based on Notre Dame being "The Fighting Irish" therefore saying "Go Irish" is cheering on the Notre Dame community and it is heard at every Notre Dame sporting event. Trust me when I say that if you have not experience Irish football then you are in for a great time when you get to a game. I was lucky enough to be an on field photographer when my alma mater played at Notre Dame and it is something I will never forget. Simply amazing!

Congrats on the interviews everyone. I found my interview (applicant initiated in September) to be a great experience. The Notre Dame staff does a great job making you feel welcomed and at home. Just be prepared for the typical questions and walk in confident. My status has now changed to "Complete", so crossing my fingers that I find out a little earlier than the 20th!

I got this email from Notre Dame today

Thank you for applying to the University of Notre Dame MBA program. Your materials have been received and your application is considered complete. The Admissions Committee will continue reviewing your file once your interview is conducted and we will email you a decision on or before December 20, 2013.

Notre Dame does not invite everyone to interview. I am fairly certain you got the standard we have everything we need and just need to interview you. I don't think anyone will get a decision before the 20th. Early decision came on October 25th and not a day earlier. The interview will mainly go over your resume and then the standard why Notre Dame, ethics, etc. I did not have a case study question in my interview so I do not think it is a requirement. As such I also can't give you any idea what kind of case study question they might ask. Cheer up, you are almost done, you get to sell yourself to Notre Dame, and the decision comes just in time for Christmas.
