I'm scoring 620 in gmat but hope to increase it to 700+
I'm aiming for the mim program in USA for sept 24 intake
I’ll be having a work experience of 1.25 years till sept 24 in finance field. Moreover I’ve done 2 internships as a financial manager
I’ve worked part time in my family business for 2years with my graduation
I’ve been doing freelancing photography since 2020 and stood 3rd in a competition at India level and have prepared portfolios of many web series actors
I own a clothing startup where we have completed 2000+ orders and registered as firm
I own a content writing page on Instagram with 832k+ followers
I’ve won a gold medal at national level in basketball
Moreover I’ve been a head boy at school, founded a parliamentary society at my college, secretary of many societies at college, captain of states team in basketball, core member of many ngos.

Targeted schools- Cornell, KELLOGG, DUKE, COLUMBIA, BOSTON, GEORGETOWN, please suggest some more stem based programs that suits with my profile

Hello everyone
Requesting a profile review + trying to get few queries solved regarding MiM Programs

Indian Male Engineer
GMAT 710 Q50 V34
Currently in my final year
Top 10 Undergrad Univ

CGPA till date - 9/10, current class rank 9/120
12th - 87%
10th - 97%

3 internships till date at small startups - 2 in Marketing and 1 in SCM
Relevant Certifications present
Tried a startup idea but closed before incorporating it

Now my confusion is as below:
1. Which is beneficial - Joining directly after my Btech or taking a gap of 1 year, get some experience and then applying for the MiM programs
2. Which programs should I prefer? - Short duration ones from reputed institutions like INSEAD, LBS, Kellogg or the extended versions from HeC Paris, ESCP, ESSEC
3. Which region b-schools should I prefer? US Schools like Kellogg, U Mich, Duke(for a better pay + better opportunities but newer MiM programs) or Europe Schools like HeC, INSEAD, LBS ??

Please guide me on how should I find the answers to the above questions. I know it will depend entirely upon me

Hi, would be really glad to have my profile evaluated for MiM (targeting LBS and INSEAD for 2024 intake)

Gender : Male
Nationality : Indian
Age : 22 as of now, will be 23 during admission

Undergrad :

Undergrad CGPA : 6.5 out of 10 as of now, expected to cross 7 by the time I graduate.
I know that this is on the lower side, especially for an Indian male, but this happened due to the fact that I completed both degrees (academic part) in four years (or eight semesters) with an average of eight courses per semester.

GMAT : Haven't taken it yet, but received 700 in a mock (without any preparation). I think around 750 should be doable for me, with a little hard work and practice.

I am from India.

I have done my ug in computer science engineering.

I am currently working as a technical consultant in an MNC I have completed 11 months of workex as per current status.
I have done 4-5 intermships also.

I have been head for college events and football team.
Also, have played football at district level.

I want to do management/strategy consulting in top 15 consulting firms.

I am currently also working as DJ at nightclubs in India.

You have a strong overall profile complete with limited but rich professional experience, fine international exposure, and strong extra-curricular activities; the key in your case is to bring together everything in your essays in a way that does not sound like a dump of information. The career goals also appear to be in sync.

Yes; a higher GMAT would have worked wonders; however, it would still be worth giving the schools you have listed a shot with a set of compelling essays in place. Needless to say, if there is any chance for you to improve your GMAT score, you must give it a shot.

I have graduated last year with a degree in Business Administration from a top 10 ranked institute in India. I have 13 months of full time work experience in corporate tax from a BIG 4 firm. I will join another BIG 4 firm next month in Advisory profile. By the time the programs start next year, I will have gained around 20-22 months of full time work experience.

I have interned in financial advisory at a top boutique consulting company during my college tenure
I also have multiple internships in NGOs

Undergraduate - 8.8/10 CGPA, 4th highest in the batch of ~330 students.
High school - 93%
