I wasn't notified of any scholarships with my offer. Per their website, applicants are considered for scholarships after they accept the offer. I called them to ask about it and they said that they would notify us during March/April.

Hey Guys!
I am new to this place. My experience:
Applied on 31st Jan 6 am IST; Interview Invite on 19th Feb, Interviewed on 26th Feb;
GMAT 700, Work Ex- 3 years by Aug 2014; Indian, working in Abu Dhabi for last 8 months.
Interview lasted only for 10-15 min. They said they have no more questions to ask! :O
1. Introduce yourself
2. Why MBA? Why Now? Why NUS?
3. Long term & short term goals
4. Challenges faced in team handling.
Period. :P

They said they will get back to me in 2 weeks. Lets see how it goes.

I submitted my application on 31st Jan,2014 but i haven't heard anything from the school. Is there anyone sailing in the same boat as mine??
I have a feeling that most of the interview invites have already been sent so my chances have become dim to minute... :P

Hi, i wanted some help about the "financial supporting" documents required to be sent in for NUS. My father will be financing my degree, so i wanted to know what exact document or types of documents will be required. Will the previous year's income tax return suffice? or something else? also, at the present, we do not have the required fee in liquid assets, do how much has to be shown as present in the account. can someone please help me out on this. it's urgent

P.S. - this is my first application so do not know what is the required document. i have read details on their website but it gives nothing specific.

and by the way, is it compulsory to upload the documents for "financial supporting" for application to be considered complete?

My confusion exactly... How much should the bank statement indicate in terms of numbers. Should it cover the whole fee? And is there an affidavit required by my father saying that he'll support my education ?

Same here mate .....applied on jan 30th nothing till now...i mailed them once in between they said it will take 6-8 weeks to review apps :shock:

My referee has submitted the online form. During the follow-up he told me that he also attached a file stating few lines about my work with him but only 2-3 lines in a text file. He was not sure of the purpose of upload document.

Is that ok? Will both the document and the questions be considered? Or will the answers above will be discarded!!

Hi all,
Sorry for not being involved on the thread.

My experience with NUS so far has been quite smooth and amazing.
Was going to SG on biz trip so contacted the NUS MBA Admissions Office and got an appointment. Attended a class on corporate strategy and was floored by the diversity and talent of students. Though there were only 20 people attending that class, I met someone from Gibraltar, from Switzerland, from Germany, from Sri Lanka and of course Singaporeans, Japanese, Chinese and Indians. Industries ranged from Tech, IB to Pharma. Was an awesome experience to discuss Apple-Microsoft rivalry during the class.

Submitted my application on March 31st and got interview call on April 3rd. Interview is on April 15th. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks to all those who put in their interview experiences. Will also share mine.

Sharing my interview debrief.
Interviewers: 1 from Admissions, 1 from Career Counseling
Interview time: 25 minutes
1. Tell us about yourself and why MBA?
2. How come you started learning Japanese (based on my background)?
3. Would your spouse have any issues in moving to SG if you get selected?
4. Are you concerned that you will be away from job market for 17 months?
5. Tell us about one situation where you managed cross-cultural conflicts
6. Do you have any questions for us?

All in all a good interview. I was satisfied that I could sell my story.
Rest, will leave to the Almighty.
Of course, the wait really gets on your nerves.
