Hey guys! Just wanted to check what the average GMAT score requirement for an Indian female applicant should be? I am looking to apply in the next round, but very apprehensive because of my score. For context: I only have work ex in the middle east for 4 years, other extra curriculars of leadership etc from uni and work and good recommendations from work as well. Would any of that compensate for a low score?
What number do you mean when you say low score? International exposure is always a bonus but as I have mentioned earlier on this thread, your goals and alignment with the school, i.e, the ability of the school to help you achieve your objectives, is far more important than a GMAT score. The GMAT scores range is pretty high in NUS with some folks getting through in high 500s all the way to mid 700s.
Adcom will always look at your overall profile including leadership potential and ability to contribute to a diverse cohort. So use your experiences to put your best foot forward to offset what you feel is a potential drawback of your application. I would say try to align your experiences to some of the USPs of NUS (doesn't need to be all), such as global exposure, involvement beyond the classroom and Asian focus for post-MBA.
