Hi Yashkumar,
If you have not yet done so, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can download 2 for free from
https://www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can discuss your overall study plan. In addition, you should plan to take your practice CATs at regular intervals (and not wait to take them all at the 'end' of your studies).
I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
3) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
I had given GMAT in October last year and scored 680 (Q50, V30). I had used the following material:
An online video course
OG 2012
OG Verbal Review 2
GMAT Prep Free tests and Exam pack 1.
I am planning to give GMAT again on 3rd Aug . I see lot of potential to improve in Verbal and I am currently working on verbal concepts.
I need some guidance on Quant. Though my score last time was okay in quant, I'm afraid I don't ignore it this time.
I am planning to solve
OG 2016 and new Qs from
OG 2017. With that I am planning to Buy GMAT prep Question Pack 1 (with 404 Qs).
I am also planning to subscribe to an online practice test series.
I will also subscribe to 25 GMAT Club Quant tests too. Please suggest if I need to solve anything else to make sure I am consistent with my performance.
My target score is 740. Will retake GMAT if I get anything less than 720.
If my score is as per expectations then will apply in round 1.
I'm targeting top 30 colleges.
Please provide your guidance Rich.
