My friend, first of all, I want to apologize that you have been waiting so long for a response. I don't know whether you looked at the announcements in this sub-forum--my priorities at Magoosh shifted away from this forum, so there's a much longer wait time until I respond. I am happy to help now.
My friend, it sounds as if you have a great deal to learn. First of all, I highly recommend downloading Magoosh's flashcard sets:
GMAT Idiom Flashcards
GMAT Math Flashcards
Drilling those on your phone will help you with many basics.

When you submit your answer to either question, the following page will have a full video explanation of the question.
