Thanks for taking a look and providing feedback!
Goal: Looking to pivot from oil and gas major to consulting, particularly in the renewable energy sector.
Stats:
GMAT: 740 Q51 V40
GPA 3.45
University:
Very small non well known or prestigious university. Student Body President. Resident Assistant. Spent significant time lobbying the state and federal government for additional higher education funding. Extensive experience in leadership positions. Commencement Speaker, etc.
Work Experience:
Wide range from sales and marketing, to supply chain. I have been promoted three times. My current role is in our supply organization driving profitable production and delivery of refinery products. This is an extremely quant heavy role, with thousands of micro optimization opportunities from refinery feedstock selection, to our supply chain.
Extracurricular activity:
Alumni Mentor to current undergrad students from my University. St. Baldrick's event organizer. Regular volunteer at the local food bank. Member of local industry groups. Unfortunately I have always travelled and frequently relocated due to my career. This has made it difficult to pursue leadership opportunities in these organizations.
I am trying to understand my chances at Sloan and Wharton, as well as receive suggestions for any other programs that may fit my background and career aspirations.
Thanks so much for any feedback you can provide!
