Yesterday was my second time taking the GMAT and I’m still disappointed with my scores. should I try again which would most likely mean I have to wait to apply until next year, or apply now?
Got a 570 (Q 36 and V 33) on 12/28 and a 580 (Q 37 and V 32) today 2/12. I’m applying to Univ of MD (Smith), UGA Terry, and Georgia Tech (Scheller). UGAs PT program doesn’t even require the GMAT or GRE so I’m less worried about that than GT and UMD. Heres what’s listed for GMAT on their class profiles
80%ile for GT Scheller:
540-700
Avg for UMD (not reported as percentiles):
570
UGAs average is a 550 something I think
My GPA was a 3.79 so I’m not really worried about that, but since it was a non-business and non-stem major I’m not sure how much I need to compensate. I also only have 2.5 years of experience.
I’ve taken the GRE (took it twice during my senior year of undergrad about 4 years ago). I got a 154 V 154 Q, so that ones also not super strong either. As you can tell I’m not a very good standardized test taker.
What do you think I should do?
