Hi All,
Had a minor query.
As we know, there are 5 Free Reports we can send to schools. In case I appear for the GMAT in the Month of Dec-Feb and choose to accept the Scores --> Is there a way to not ask the schools to consider the score for 2017 Admissions? I want them to consider it for 2018 admissions. In this scenario, do I need to re-send the scores again in 2018 or will the current ones be valid?
Thanks.
What you ask makes sense. However, there is no certain way to do this. It largely depends on the school but a number of folks reported not having to re-send the scores (with different timeframes).
The bottom line, however, is that it is out of your hands and you are going to have to figure it out when you start your 2018 applications. There is usually a dashboard (depends on a school obviously) that gives you a current status on what has been submitted/sent and what is still outstanding.
Next year, can see if your GMAT is checked off, or if not, you can always ping the admissions intern to see if they can fix that or if you have to submit a score again.
P.S. For undergrads GMAT allows to split the fee into 2 parts: Test and Score reports, making the test cheaper due to not sending the score reports. it would be nice if they enabled this for everyone.
