A lot of times, resume services are included with many admissions consulting packages, so it may be worthwhile to explore that option- as opposed to hiring someone to solely help with your resume. The reason is because you want to make sure that all of the components of your application tell a cohesive narrative; this includes how you represent yourself on your resume, as well as in your essays, video submissions (if applicable) and interviews, etc.

Our consultancy, MBA Link, offers free consultations to help give you an idea about what services would benefit you most. I'd be happy to set-up time to talk if you're interested. You can register here: https://www.mymbalink.com/free-consultation-mba-link

Hi,

I searched a lot to find tips to write a resume. I found a lot of articles online about how to write one but none showing the exact format. I would be happy if someone could answer my following queries.

1. Provided some schools have their own resume format , certain others do no specify a specific format. Do we need to use any specific format for resumes sent to such schools?

2. Is it safe option to get your resume written by a professional or have it cross checked by them.If so, can someone provide the best professionals resume writers that they have experience with.

Hello ansarose,

Hope this finds you well.

While some schools specify a certain format, others do not. However, generally, a one-pager is what every school desires.
