x cents/scoop, so for 3 scoops it will be 3x cents

For 3 toppings, the customers has to pay an additional amount of y cents

Hence, for 3 scoops and 3 toppings --> 3x+y

How much for 3 scoops + 3 toppings ? x,y = ?
1 scoop = x cents ( 30 cents )
3 toppings = y cents ( 15 cents )
For 3 scoops + 3 toppings = 3x + y

Put x=1 & y=2

3 scoops and 3 toppings cost = 3+2=5

A) 2....Incorrect

B) 3....Incorrect

C)5....correct and hold

D)7....Incorrect

E)9....Incorrect
