Akhil must complete a project that is divided into seven subtasks by midnight on Sunday. He can only complete one subtask each day, starting Monday morning, though the subtasks can be completed in any order. The table shows each subtask as a fraction of the total work for the project. If he must complete more than half of the work for the project before Friday, is subtask S completed before Friday?
(1) Subtask R is completed on Friday and Subtask V is completed on Saturday.
(2) Subtask P is completed on Thursday and Subtask Q is completed on Monday.

Assume total work= LCM(3, 5, 6, 9, 15, 30, 45)= 90
P=30; Q=10; R=15; S=12; T=3; U=2; V=18
M+Tu+W+Th>90/2
Statement 1-
Fri= 15; and Sat=18
If we do't include S in first 4 days, Maximum work that can be finished in first 4 days= 30+15+2+3=45, which is not greater than 45. Hence, we must include S in first 4 days
Sufficient
Statement 2- Th=30; and M=10
If we don't include S in first 4 days, Maximum work that can be finished in first 4 days= 30+10+15+18=73>45
If we include S in first 4 days, Maximum work that can be finished in first 4 days= 30+10+18+12=70>45
Hence, both scenarios are possible.
