Some background: I took the GMAT once in July 2017 and scored a 640 (49 Q / 29 V). I took it again in 1st Sep 2017 and scored a shocking 600 (49 Q / 23 V)
Before my second attempt i was constantly scoring between 670-720 in mocks but got 600 in actual gmat.
Now after ten days without studying and practicing anything I took Manhattan's Mock and scored 690 (Q49/ V36) as i was very confident of my study, concept and practice.
should I retake exam within 1 week or wait and study before my next attempt.
That's very hard to say, though I'd normally advise you to back yourself in this situation. Have you got the ESRs for your exams?
Thanks a lot for the response. I was actually wondering if I am just fundamentally erratic in the actual exam, and hence more attempts might help in general.
For ESR - there seems to be an issue with the mba.com website, where the link to generate ESR doesn't work for a cancelled score. (I cancelled my 2nd attempt).
I am following up with them for getting the ESR, and hope to get it by tomorrow.
