For those who were admitted, did you receive a phone call or an email requesting a phone call?

Have not received any such request. but have been in constant touch with adcom and staff for the scholarship weekend over phone and email.

Hi All,

I have received admit from Simon full time MBA class of 2016 with 50 % scholarship.
Its quite exciting but I am evaluating other options also at this time.
I have other offer from Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary with 100 % scholarship.
Considering I wish to pursue MBA finance and want to work in some good bank in credit vertical
Request your views regarding
Reputation of both schools
Job/internship opportunities in Banks
Long term benefits of being Simon MBA over being Mason MBA.

Thanks in advance

Hey bud - were you interviewed via Skype or in person ? I've received a f2f interview invite as Simon Admissions team is on a India tour and are taking some interviews.

Got a mail from Simon saying that they would like to consider me for the their accelerated 18-month program. Anyone else get this Simon? .. also it would really helpful to know your thoughts about the 18-month MBA.

I had 6 yrs of experience at the time of interview.. and will have 7 yrs of work-ex by Jan 2015, if I decide to matriculate to this program. Either way, I have responded with an affirmative that I will consider this option. They had mentioned in their email that the admissions decision will be available in a week, if I decided to take this route. So apparently the waiting game for me is not over yet.

Cheers,

I got the same email saying that places are filled and the accelerated program is the only option for me right now. I will have 4.5 years of experience by Sep. Given that I value the internship opportunity and admit from Olin, I am seriously considering withdrawing my application... Not sure how a Simon MBA will weigh against Olin's - am an international aiming for consulting.

Hi Krayfi

Places are filled for regular MBA ? :S
