I got the same email saying that places are filled and the accelerated program is the only option for me right now. I will have 4.5 years of experience by Sep. Given that I value the internship opportunity and admit from Olin, I am seriously considering withdrawing my application... Not sure how a Simon MBA will weigh against Olin's - am an international aiming for consulting.
Interesting thought. I don't its an easy choice between one over the other. Overall both colleges are nearly the same per FT ranks with Olin having a slight edge. However, for me choosing either one of those colleges would be a function of my aspirations. I would likely choose Simon for a finance track, but would rather goto Olin if I wanted to pursue tech consulting.
Grats on ure Olin Krayfi, just make a list of pros and cons..and you know the exercise .. all the best ...
Hi everyone. New here. Just wanted inputs and views on choosing between Simon and Sauder. I plan to break into consulting and want to maximise my chances of getting a post MBA job. Have got admits from both schools but need to decide soon.
Thanks Krayfi. I have over 5-6 years of media experience and about a year in health care. Targetting strategy and healthcare consulting. Perhaps marketing as a back up. I dont have a consulting background though. Also down to which school is better placed to land me a post MBA job. Where did you decide finally to be? Tks again!
Oh, and I keep hearing/reading great things about Vancouver too! Suppose for the moment the place to study is secondary and the decision will be based on the odds of doing better from one school or the other. But I hear you!
I have applied on 4th Feb but no update since then.
I did contact Jennifer from the admissions staff if I was kind of too late to apply to the 2 year MBA program and she was very couretous in offering me an application fee waiver.

Can someone help me understand why Simon's ranking is low in most of the surveys (except for FT rankings), given its strong reputation, intellectual capital, employment statistics, etc Wondering what could be the reason.
Ironclaw, were you admitted for Full Time program or the accelerated one?
Hi sotsh Nop, regular 2 years. Are you looking at accelerated one?
Best,

No, I am also looking for regular 2 year one. Just wanted to confirm if they are still giving admits! BTW, How much tuition does your scholarship cover?

I guess the game is still on. Never lose hope. I got 30% scholarship. I am looking for Finance as concentration. I love the faculty there. But, even after scholarship it's very expensive for me. So, not sure what to do. .
