Hey Rich,

Thank you for the reply. Its pretty informative for a beginner like me. I will definitely take up all the sections the next time I appear full length CATs.

I intend to apply for the class of 2018 in Kenan-Flagler, Tepper , Said , LBS , INSEAD , HEC , ISB & NUS in R1 cycle.

Looking forward to your inputs. :)

Hi Avinash01,

A planned Test Date at the end of May gives you plenty of time to study for the GMAT - but you will have to be organized and consistent about your approach. In addition, you have plenty of additional time before the Round 1 application deadlines this year. This is all meant to say that you're 'thinking ahead', which is good.

Given your score goal, beyond learning all of the necessary content, you're going to also need to learn the proper Tactics, all of the built-in patterns that GMAT questions are based around and the little 'secrets' to the Test. As such, you would likely find it beneficial to invest in a full GMAT Course of some type (either Guided Self-Study or instructor-led). Most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it. We have a variety of those resources at our website (www.empowergmat.com). I suggest that you take advantage of all of them then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

If you have any additional questions, then just let me know.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
