Hi all, new here (first post).
This month I embarked on my journey to prepare for the GMAT, I am studying with the
TTP course materials. Right now I am in the first chapter of SC "Introduction", so far I have achieved only 45% accuracy, I feel terrible about that result since I have been wrong even in the "easy" examples. I already knew beforehand that it was going to hit me hard because I'm not a native English speaker.
I need your advice, should I continue with the course? Or, before continuing with the
TTP course, is there other more basic material?
Almost all courses give basic knowledge. Almost 95% study material is same in all coaching courses. I believe
TTP also does the same. Once you are done with all the
TTP material, then you go back and revise and then attempt all the questions again. I believe your accuracy will improve tremendously.
Revision is must for retaining all the rules. If you dont do it, your accuracy wont pick up. You will have to revise it 3-4 times before 80-90% material is retained in your brain.
After that you practice and practice with
OG and other questions and then you can gain another 10% knowledge left to gain. Whenever you encounter a problem go back to relevant part of study material and revise it and then try question again. If you still cannot attempt that question then ask in gmat forums or search google. Most of the questions can be searched with google and many people might have given answers as well. So you can understand where you went wrong and what is relevant knowledge required to answer the question.
Best of luck
