Hi,

Is it important to provide certificate for every extra curricular activity that I have done? For eg: I have played synthesizer for a long time but never got any certificate. Also, I have played synthesizer in fund-raising events but do not have any certificate to prove it. Should I still include that in my resume?

Hi Divya,

Thanks for your question. In fact, many people have asked me this question. Of course, you can and should mention it in your resume even if you don't have a certificate. It is your talent that you have acquired over time and have also demonstrated at fund-raising events, so you should definitely let the admission committee know about this talent of yours in your resume as well as in the essay ( when relevant).

I hope it helped.
