The panda is singular therefore it should be related to something singular which in this case is bear and not bears (plural).
Based on this we can eliminate options A,B and D.
The verb for the panda which is singular should be lives and not live.
Based on this we can eliminate options A and B.
We are left with options C and E.
First lets take option E.In the following options it mentions that panda (it) travels as staple food which does not make any sense.
We are left with option C which is the correct answer.
Based on this we can eliminate options A,B and D.
