Hi CLTpkg,

Many Test Takers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores. Since you've been studying for about a week, you shouldn't expect to have mastered any of the content/concepts just yet. As long as you have a general 'comfort level' with the material, you should consider moving on to whatever content is next in your Study Plan. The overall concept of 'review' should be a part of your schedule though - so if your current materials don't give you an opportunity to go back and revisit past concepts that you've already work through, then you proactively should make time for that review. A logical point in your schedule to plan for that type of review would be immediately before or after you take a CAT.

As a way to gauge your progress, I suggest that you study as you see fit for another 1-2 weeks, then take a new FULL LENGTH CAT (with the Essay and IR sections). That score result will help to define how well you're retaining what you've learned.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

I meant 90% on your quizzes and end of chapter exercises. MGMAT quant is harder. Many report that. That's a rule of thumb so to speak I have used during my prep.

As to taking a CAT - just a word of caution when you take it. If all you covered is DFP's then you are likely only to hit 3-5 questions out of the whole test. It may or may not make a difference and 4 hrs is a big commitment, hence my crude methodology.
