Ding. After jumping through all the hoops Adcom wanted me to, spending money I couldn't have spent on a trip from South America to Hanover just to interview, and improving on every single aspect they gave me feedback on, I moved from a waitlist last year to a ding this year.
Out of words right now.
Best of luck to all admitted. After 2 years attempting, I'll just have to deal with the fact that business school just is not for me.

Ding... sucks. I guess this helps me to avoid having a first world problem of having to decide between multiple schools (although I'm still waiting on a decision from Fuqua this Friday)

To all WL guys and gals,

I know this will not offset anything, but I wanted you guys to know Tuck handles WL with the most respect any other school will. They will assign you an Adcom member that will directly communicate with you with any updates or questions you have, he will also be the one to have a feedback call to you in which he will explain how to improve on the waitlist.

I was WL last year, did not make it, and got in today with some $.
I was on WL on other schools last year and by far - Tuck make it a better experience.

This is a prime example of what I meant in my earlier post (tuck-dartmouth-class-of-2016-calling-all-applicants-151322-920.html#p1306907).

I'm sorry :( Depending on how some of these R2 apps go, I am beginning to feel the same way about B School.

I cried last time when I got my ding letter (with a 10% feedback offer), but what picked me up was an option to re apply - I don't have any such options now ):. Thought my app was 10 times better this time, and I even went from Dallas to Hanover twice in a month to show my interest - guess that was not enough.

aww man. Sorry about the ding, but consider yourself a blessed man with an admit from a great school and a potential admit from another great school on Friday. Trust me, in the end everything works out. I was rejected by 9 schools, including Tuck, before I got into Duke and I couldn't be happier. Yes, I know Tuck is a special place, and I cried too when I didn't get in last year, but once its all said and done, you will come out of this process a much stronger human being, at least I did.

Good Luck at Duke!

I am extremely sorry man. I was rooting for you, and I know you are the most deserving person Tuck did not admit. But while you might have lost couple battles, you will eventually win the war. You have some amazing life experiences and those will make you a much more successful person in the long run.

Also, if you are interested in applying to Duke or any other school, I would be more than happy to help you out.

gbrooks - As a silent stalker of of this thread and a denied applicant of Tuck, I am sincerely rooting for you to get in. Your dedication to helping other applicants during these unnerving times truly demonstrates the characteristics of a team player. Do me a favor please, and be one of the WL applicants that gets accepted.

Sorry I asked this earlier, but my application still says APPLICATION STATUS: SUBMITTED. What does this mean?
