I feel like there has to be another wave coming out, otherwise they would have to be crazy selective (like Stanford level) with this round. But if I get a ding tomorrow, at least it seems I'll be in good company.
I know right. I have rockstar applicant friends who haven't heard a peep from sloan. If we're all on the train to dingville, it's a pretty damn distinguished train.

No invite but it makes me feel better knowing I'm on the highly distinguished ding train! Keep your chin high everyone. Many paths lead to Rome.
Guys, this day made me optimistic that there might be a chance for me to still get an invite If indeed so few people(relatively) got an invite (and I saw that in clear admit there weren't too many invitations as well) then what do you think that will happen tomorrow? A huge flow of invitations and dings? A blog post that will change the inform date? An annoying radio silence? What do you think?
well, we have no other choice, but to wait for another day, and another week

I received my interview invite from Yale at 830 EST one evening so we might see some tonight...I think they still have a decent number of invites in the queue to be sent. Not that I expect one for sure, but there are still too many solid candidates who haven't heard anything.

And I think Yale sent invites after the deadline too.. It certainly sent dings long after the deadline hence I'm assuming they sent out a few invites in the interim period. They did not update their deadline date.. Just trying to stay positive a little while longer..
I really believe they are not going to extend the deadline. They would have posted it somewhere. Also (at least in Brazil) they have admitted more candidates than usual in round 1 + a higher than normal acceptance ratio from these admits.
I'd like to think last bunch of invites today and then dingsss. I have some hope due to the brazilian guy whose optional essay still had not received any views by 4th of March...
MIT was never my top priority, but this day became the most stressful day in my MBA application thus far. Hope not to be disappointed. Good luck everyone!!
