What is the actually mechanism McCombs uses to contact the admits, I thought it was an email/updated to the UT EID MyStatus page? How do we know we should be expecting a phone call?[/quote]
Most schools actually call the students they accept (there are a few exceptions) the days leading up to the decision deadline. People reported phone calls from McCombs on last year's forum. Dings and waitlist spots are usually communicated via email and the online portal on the actual decision day.[/quote]

It looks like international applicants got emails, not phone calls, with admissions offers. Last year the admit emails for internationals came in at the same time as the phone calls, meaning any time now!

I have read on forums that sometimes they don't call international students due to time difference. Best would be to constantly monitor the online application portal for any change in the status.

No interview invite for me, yet. Still hopeful but really anxious and worried. The admissions rep had informed me that the school will be sending out interview invitations till 18th, which although hard to believe, I want to believe that guy.
